Service overview

Built for Canadian businesses that need practical results

Updates, backups, monitoring and the small fixes that never get done otherwise. Handled on a schedule so problems surface before customers find them.

Best fit

Who this service is for

Businesses without technical staff

Sites where the original developer disappeared

Sites handling customer data or payments

Websites needing regular content changes

Sites that have been neglected for years

Problems and fixes

Problems this service solves

Unclear service positioning

Sharper page structure: Build sections around buyer questions, deliverables, FAQs, and contact paths. This improves clarity before a visitor contacts the business.

Weak search intent match

Intent-led content: Align headings, metadata, internal links, and FAQs with real service questions. This gives the page a stronger reason to exist in search.

Manual follow-up

Workflow planning: Connect forms, notifications, dashboards, or admin tools where they support the project. Staff can respond with better context.

Hard-to-maintain content

Admin-editable records: Use Django models and related content blocks for repeatable page sections. The site can keep improving after launch.

Deliverables

What maintenance covers

  • Security and dependency updates: Framework, library and server updates applied on a schedule, tested before going live rather than applied blindly.
  • Backups with tested restores: Scheduled database and file backups, kept off the production server, with restores actually tested rather than assumed.
  • Uptime and error monitoring: Automated checks on availability, SSL expiry and error rates, so we usually know before you do.
  • Content updates: Text, image, service and page changes handled within an agreed monthly allowance. Larger additions are quoted separately.
  • Technical fixes: Broken forms, layout problems, link errors and small bugs corrected as part of the plan.
  • Periodic health reporting: A summary of what was updated, what was fixed, backup status and anything worth your attention.

Business value

Why it is worth the monthly cost

Problems found before customers find them

Monitoring and scheduled checks catch failed forms and expired certificates while they are still cheap to fix.

Backups that actually restore

An untested backup is not a backup. Restores are verified so recovery works when it matters.

Small changes stop piling up

An included allowance means minor updates get done rather than accumulating into a project.

Someone who knows your site

Continuity matters. Fixes are faster when whoever responds already understands how the site is built.

Questions

Website Maintenance FAQs

The content may not change but the environment does. Frameworks release security patches, certificates expire, dependencies age and hosting configurations shift. Static sites need less attention, not none.

That is fine and common. We start with a review of the current state, bring the site to a safe baseline, then move it onto a regular schedule. The initial cleanup is quoted separately from ongoing maintenance.

A monthly allowance for small changes is included. Larger work such as new page types, redesigns or functionality is quoted separately so the plan stays predictable for both sides.

Response targets are agreed in the plan and depend on severity. A site that is down is treated differently from a layout issue on one page. We agree those definitions upfront rather than leaving it vague.

Yes. Plans run month to month rather than on long lock-ins, and your data, code and backups remain yours.
